An outdoor area to match the completely renovated, state-of-the-art and stylish hotel and to meet the fast-growing demand for charging points.
Hotel Van der Valk Schiphol is a state-of-the-art and welcoming place for its guests. But a good first impression starts in the car park. Therefore, the outside area had to be addressed. Director Bill van der Valk is delighted with the charming carport installed there: ‘The design attracts the attention of our guests; the car park is now a beautiful extension of our luxury hotel.’
‘We were looking for an experienced and reliable supplier who could think along in a new design as well as move quickly, as we were in quite a hurry,’ says director and client Bill van der Valk. ‘E-Ports turned out to be a fine partner to do the job: they responded quickly to our questions and thought with us about specific preferences.’
‘The design of the carport fits exactly into our vision and meets all the requirements of our time. We started with 12 solar carports, which now generate about 30,000 kWh of green energy per year and reduce costs considerably. Later we can easily expand, if the demand for green power continues to increase.’
‘We like the solar parking tremendously; we are really happy with it. Outside now has the same atmosphere as inside. It’s nice that we generate this green power without having to use the roof and without having to use pastures elsewhere in the country. Customers also react enthusiastically to it because they see that we are investing in clean energy.’
Bill looks back on working with us with great satisfaction. ‘After E-Ports realised the foundation, they took care of the complete construction in three days. Everything was completed so tightly and quickly, which surprised us. The team’s enthusiasm was contagious. Nice people with a lot of product knowledge and a high standard of quality!’
